Bonded vehicle windows can only be cut out using special tools.
Not all window cutting tools offered on the open market are suitable for Volkswagen/Audi models.
Cutting with VAS equipment has been tried and tested and poses no threat with regards to health problems. Removal and installation is described in the workshop manuals for all vehicle models and types of window using VAS equipment.

Design and features:
The adhesive between the body and window is cut through using a special round wire in this process.
The wire is wound up on a reel device attached to the vehicle window with suction cups.
Both of the relay rollers are also attached to the window with suction cups.
The remaining small parts support the wire guide during the cutting procedure.
